# Claiming and leaving

### Claiming on Reflection

Your balance grows in place. Whenever you want, you can claim everything above your original deposit and send it to your wallet. **Your level stays exactly where it was.**

One thing to know: the tokens you claim stop compounding. Your next win is calculated on what is left staked. Leave them in and they keep growing with you.

### Claiming on Injection

Whenever Injection wins, your share of the pot becomes claimable. Claim it any time, in one transaction, no matter how many rounds it has been sitting there.

### Leaving Reflection

Leaving the Reflection side is a real decision. Three things happen:

1. **5% of what you take out is burned.** Gone from the supply, not paid to anyone 🔥
2. **You wait.** A quarter of the time you were staked, up to a maximum of 5 days
3. **Your ladder resets.** Whatever you leave behind starts again at level 1

The dashboard shows you all three before you confirm. There are no surprises after the click.

### Leaving Injection

Instant. No burn, no wait, no level to lose. Injection is the side you can walk away from at any time.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://reflection-or-injection.gitbook.io/rein-docs/claiming-and-leaving.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
